The Sr Application Engineering Supervisor at Honeywell International, Inc. in Houston, TX is responsible for leading and managing a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to customers. The position impacts the growth and success of the engineering teams and requires urgency in driving the development and execution of applications that meet high standards of quality and performance. The role also involves making critical decisions that shape the direction of the GTAC Legacy group in the Americas region, empowering the team to overcome barriers to execution and deliver exceptional results. Additionally, the supervisor will help build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.

  • Lead and manage a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Provide accurate and efficient technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure proactive management of customer questions and issues within Service Level Agreement timing.
  • Maintain strong case documentation and follow-up to resolve customer issues.
  • Drive case cycle time reductions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate RAIL tasks with the local Honeywell team on complex cases.
  • Participate in meetings with customers to support Honeywell affiliates.
  • Keep technically current with the HPS product/systems portfolio.
  • Share knowledge and new findings with team members through knowledge articles.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 6 years of experience with process control systems.
  • 6 years of experience with Experion TPS legacy products and related Honeywell products.
  • 4 years of experience with Experion PKS E-Products and related Honeywell products.
  • 3 years of experience with Experion PKS E-Products and related Honeywell products including EAM and EHM.
  • 2 years of experience with Experion PKS E-Products and related Honeywell products including C300PM.
