About The Position

The Sr Application Engineering Supervisor for Honeywell International, Inc. in Houston, TX is responsible for leading and managing a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions to customers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for business growth. Technical expertise and guidance will be crucial in solving complex engineering problems and ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and scope. The position reports directly to the Sr Application Engineering Manager and allows for remote work up to two times per week. The supervisor will impact the growth and success of the engineering teams, driving the development and execution of applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Critical decisions will shape the direction of the GTAC Legacy group in the Americas region, and strong leadership will empower the team to overcome barriers to execution and deliver exceptional results. The role also involves building a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture. Additionally, the supervisor will develop sound relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical support, acting as the primary TAC contact for complex/multiple-issue support cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 6 years of experience with process control systems.
• 6 years of experience with Experion TPS legacy products and related Honeywell products.
• 4 years of experience with E-HPM, E-UCN, ELCN, EHG, ENIM, and ENB.
• 3 years of experience with EAM, EHM, EHB, and TCMI.
• 2 years of experience with C300PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of application engineers.

• Provide accurate and efficient technical support to customers.
• Maintain strong case documentation and follow-up to resolve customer issues.
• Drive case cycle time reductions to improve customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate RAIL tasks with the local Honeywell team on complex cases.
• Participate in meetings with customers to support Honeywell affiliates.
• Keep technically current with the HPS product/systems portfolio.
