About The Position

The Sr Application Administrator will lead the ongoing development and support of our Salesforce application. This administrator will work closely with functional leaders and organizational units to design scalable best practice solutions and help manage the product roadmap. This position can be worked remotely in the United States.

Requirements

  • 4+ years hands on administrator experience with Salesforce, building applications using standard Salesforce customizations and automation features.
  • Experience leading and developing medium to large scale Salesforce data, integration, and feature implementations.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry standards/best practices surrounding Salesforce development.
  • Ability to understand and decide on when to use low-code/no-code/or custom developed solutions.
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
  • Proficient using SQL, SAQL, SOQL, SOSL.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of formula building inside of Salesforce including syntax, functions, and operators.
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio, Developer console, Workbench and Data Loader.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and processes.
  • Experience leveraging multiple Salesforce products across multiple business areas.
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
  • Experience leveraging the Salesforce Community effectively.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment.

  • Familiarity with Analytics CRM (Tableau CRM).

Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce strategy for low code/best practice architecture across all Salesforce implementations.
  • Complete complex Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Provide high-level analysis and design reviews to solve conceptual problems to avoid duplication of efforts within Salesforce.
  • Design and perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues.
  • Provide fault isolation and resolution to limit and address issues promptly.
  • Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
  • Support and contribute to the documentation of 'as is' and 'to be' processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the 'to be' capability to record accurately the change required.
  • Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
  • Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
