About The Position

This position involves the design, testing, and evaluation of antennas and RF systems specifically for automotive radar systems. The role requires translating antenna specifications into practical designs, predicting performance through simulations, and verifying results with real-world data. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary product development team is essential, as well as preparing design documentation and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. in engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of design experience in mm wave antennas, specifically waveguide/SIW antennas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer-based simulation or analysis.
• Experience with HFSS, CST, or equivalent simulation tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work as a team player, highly motivated, flexible, and well organized.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate-level coursework and/or hands-on project experience in antennas.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and evaluate antennas and RF systems for automotive radar systems.
• Translate antenna specifications into real designs.
• Predict performance with simulation and verify with real-world data.
• Interface with a multi-disciplinary product development team to support design, integration, and testing.
• Develop antenna concepts and optimize designs using simulation tools like HFSS.
• Fabricate hardware through outsourcing and test antennas for S parameters and patterns.
• Prepare design documentation, create test plans, and generate test reports.
• Present design concepts, antenna performance, and trade-off studies to team members, management, and customers.
