About The Position
We're building a consumer finance app for emerging markets, in partnership with extremely large distribution partners. We are creating a joint virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet that allows users all over the world to move seamlessly within our financial ecosystem. Why now: stablecoins are changing cross-border payments. There is an opportunity to rebuild financial infrastructure for the 3 billion people who need better financial rails. We're a small, senior-only team moving fast. We are well-funded with the ability to offer high cash compensation, based in SF, and led by proven founders with successful exits. Every hire shapes our product direction while we make Day 1 impact on global financial inclusion. The Role We're seeking a strong Android Engineer to lead our mobile client development. We will also be building an iOS and a mobile-friendly web app in parallel, so there may be room to stretch impact depending on your skills. You'll architect the Android stack, set standards, and build a highly performant, reliable, and secure app from the ground up. This role could evolve into a mobile lead across platforms as we scale.
Requirements
- Strong early stage startup/founding engineer experience
- 8-10+ years building and shipping consumer-facing Android apps natively in Java or Kotlin at scale
Nice To Haves
- Experience building for the Latin American Market
- Experience in financial technology
- Good design sense
- Full-stack engineering skillset and ability to flex across other parts of the stack
