Requirements
- Voice Command System Development: - Design and implement voice recognition and natural language processing (NLP) modules for Android. - Integrate speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) engines into Android applications.
- Conversational AI Integration: - Develop intent recognition, dialogue management, and contextual understanding for voice commands. - Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate machine learning models for speech enhancement and semantic parsing.
- Platform Integration: - Work with Android SDK/NDK to integrate voice command features into system-level services and apps. - Ensure compatibility with Android frameworks (e.g., Google Speech API, TensorFlow Lite, ML Kit).
- Performance Optimization: - Optimize voice command processing for real-time responsiveness and low power consumption. - Profile and tune algorithms for ARM-based processors and mobile SoCs.
- Testing & Validation: - Develop automated test suites for voice command accuracy, latency, and reliability. - Conduct usability studies and refine conversational flows based on user feedback.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with UX designers, linguists, and product managers to deliver intuitive voice experiences. - Collaborate with hardware teams for microphone array processing and noise cancellation.
Nice To Haves
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with voice assistants or conversational AI platforms (Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant).
- Knowledge of multilingual speech recognition and synthesis.
- Contributions to open-source speech/NLP projects.
- Familiarity with cloud-based voice services and hybrid on-device/cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Development, Coding and Systems integration for Network systems used in various Civilian / Defense and Maritime applications
- Translation of requirements to Design, architecture
- Operate on various DSP / Hardware systems
- Knowledge of Test & measurement systems is a bonus.
