About The Position

We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Android applications. As a senior team member, you will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure our apps deliver outstanding performance and usability.

Requirements

5+ years of programming experience in Android development (preferably Kotlin)
Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, and best practices
Familiarity with integrating and consuming RESTful APIs
Experience with modern tools, frameworks and associated patterns like Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/RxJava, OkHttp, Android build variants.
Strong knowledge of mobile performance optimization and security best practices
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin (and Java as needed)
Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and Android development guidelines
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members
Keep up to date with the latest mobile technology trends, techniques, and best practices
Contribute to improving engineering processes, tools, and workflows
