About The Position

Manages the asset/liability and liquidity functions for Citadel. The incumbent will oversee data collection and quality, assumptions, modeling, results analysis, and work with Treasurer to develop short- and long-term balance sheet management strategies as well as accurately deliver reports in a tight timeline. Incumbent will develop data collection tools to monitor and forecast sources and uses of funds and project forward cash-flows and liquidity needs. Provide technical advice, services and reports to various departments requesting assistance solving complex problems or issues or completing special projects

Requirements

  • 7+ years of financial / accounting experience; Experience in Asset Liability Management is required; Experience with Funds Transfer Pricing areas is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Understanding of Asset/Liability Management and Funds Transfer Pricing concepts
  • Robust analytics knowledge and excellent MS Office Suite skills, in particular Excel & PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Perform interest rate risk measurement and analysis functions using the interest rate risk simulation model to measure current and planned exposures of net interest income and capital to interest rate risk
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for ALCO which include Balance Sheet and Income Statement forecasts, interest rate forecast, projections regarding interest rate spreads, CAMEL ratios, GAP analysis, Net Interest Margin details, Ratio Compliance, Borrowings and rate shock analyses
  • Research and make recommendations for ALM policy revisions on an annual basis
  • Review, analyze, report, and enhance deposit and prepayment assumptions on an ongoing basis
  • Work closely with ALM vendor to challenge ALM assumptions and enhance if needed over time
  • Provide support for NCUA quarterly 5300 and compliance reporting.
  • Provide analysis and remittance support for purchased and sold loans portfolios
  • FTP - Conduct ongoing analysis of various deposit, loan, credit cards and insurance products to quantify costs and profitability. Upload rate data and maintain records as needed in Axiom
  • Submit data and reports to outside Vendors and agencies for audits, what-if scenarios, collateral listings, general reporting and examinations
  • Reporting – Produce various report functions through initiatives from Senior Management, Directors, and Managers. They include, but not limited to, reports from areas such as reconciliations, charge-offs, liquidity, and delinquencies
