About The Position

The Senior Transportation Analyst plays a key role in driving operational efficiency across global transportation by supporting initiatives that enhance cost-effectiveness, service quality, and performance against internal KPIs. This position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and economical movement of goods, aligning transportation strategies with broader business objectives.

Requirements

• Supply Chain experience.
• 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics analysis preferred.
• Ability to self-manage, set priorities and meet objectives in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrate ability to understand and apply problem solving methods, statistical techniques and performance metrics and translate these metrics into financial savings into time and operational efficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused and capable of building business partnerships and influencing at all levels of organization.
• Advanced MS Excel, DAX and PowerBI skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Schedule pickups and coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery across all modes of transportation.
• Monitor carrier performance and proactively address delays or service issues.
• Develop and maintain transportation models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Procurement, Demand Planning, Finance and Operations to align transportation strategies with business objectives.
• Partner with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve routing, mode selection, and carrier performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for transportation spend.
• Ensure compliance with hazmat regulations and company policies.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis.
• POC for local operations as well as 3PL locations to ensure uninterrupted shipping processes/system availability.
• Other duties as assigned.
