About The Position

Aon's HR Total Rewards team is hiring a Sr. Analyst to focus on 401(k) Plan Administration. This role can be located in the US near an Aon office, with the expectation to come into the office as needed. Aon is in the business of better decisions. Requirements

  • Significant experience with 401(k) plan administration.
  • Working knowledge of US retirement plan laws and regulations, with a solid understanding of EPCRS compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen by understanding budgets, accruals, and performing bank account reconciliations for retirement plans.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify, document, and resolve participant issues effectively.
  • Leverage data mining techniques to analyze and interpret results for informed decision-making.
  • Bring audit experience, including 5500 filings, SOX testing, and annual plan audits.
  • CEBS and/or ASPPA Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and support the administration of retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to support plan administration and oversee payment processing.
  • Address participant questions and assist with claims, appeals, audits, and legal requests.
  • Investigate and resolve complex retirement benefit matters, applying plan provisions and maintaining documentation.
  • Manage the Aon Savings Plan email inbox and coordinate communications.
  • Perform reconciliations for retirement plans and monitor recordkeeping expenses.
  • Conduct SOX compliance testing and user acceptance evaluations for applications and processes.
  • Support benefits communications and related projects.
  • Assist with project deliverables, monitor deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
