About The Position

To support the increasing complexity of Cobb’s modern workplace infrastructure, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Technician to play a critical role in the secure, efficient, and scalable deployment of endpoint devices and Microsoft cloud services across the organization. As Cobb’s reliance on Azure Cloud Services, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365 continues to expand, this position will provide the technical expertise necessary to maintain operational continuity, strengthen cybersecurity posture, enhance user productivity, and support future scalability initiatives. This role will serve as a key technical resource within the IT team, delivering hands-on configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting support while also contributing to automation, documentation, and internal capability development.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in endpoint management, Microsoft cloud administration, or enterprise IT support preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with: o Microsoft Intune o Azure Active Directory / Azure Cloud Services o Microsoft 365 Administration o Endpoint compliance and device management tools
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint configuration, security hardening, and policy enforcement.
  • Experience with cloud-based identity and access management.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices across the organization.
  • Administer and support Microsoft cloud platforms including Azure Cloud Services, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft 365.
  • Ensure device compliance, security configuration, and policy enforcement in alignment with company and industry standards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for endpoint devices and cloud-based applications.
  • Develop and implement automation processes to improve provisioning efficiency and reduce manual workload.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure timely device provisioning and secure access management.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities or compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new technology adoption and infrastructure scalability initiatives.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and mentor junior IT team members as needed.
