About The Position

The Senior International Tax Analyst is responsible for supporting international tax strategic analyses, documentation, and compliance with respect to various cross-border domestic taxes and international taxes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3-7 years tax experience in Public Accounting environment or relevant multinational experience
  • International tax experience required
  • Strong mathematical and financial/accounting analytical and work paper skills
  • Sophisticated Excel knowledge & skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of project management & organizational skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.
  • Quickly adapt to a changing environment
  • Ability to quickly apply learned knowledge to new and changing facts.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to make reasoned judgments that are logical and well-thought out.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, MST, or CPA a plus
  • Experience with CSC Corp Tax software a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review US informational tax returns and work papers (5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, etc.), including schedules for annual/quarterly Subpart F income, Net CFC Tested Income (previously known as global intangible low-taxed income), Section 956 and other inclusions, E&P studies, foreign tax credits, currency related matters, and maintenance of permanent tax files for the Company’s international subsidiaries
  • Strategically analyze structures and document analyses regarding various elections and prepare and file relevant filings (i.e., entity classification, tax residency certificate, §338)
  • Analyze, prepare, or review Monthly & Annual U.S. Withholding Compliance Remittances & Returns
  • Assist in tax processes optimization regarding quarterly and annual financial and tax return reporting as it relates to certain US cross-border matters.
  • Conduct tax research related to business activities (US cross-border & foreign) and identify, conclude & document tax risks.
  • Assist and liaise with foreign advisors and help with documentation of various tax considerations regarding business development and other tax planning strategies.
  • Support external tax advisors and auditors with information requests.
  • As needed, prepare or confirm periodic journal entries, reconciliations and working papers to support the Company’s various intercompany and tax matters
  • Remain informed with respect to tax law developments and assessment of related impact on the company.
