About The Position

Position Purpose: As a Senior Operations Business Analyst in HDES, you will have a material impact on field and support operations with large scale, visible outcomes. Your goal is to understand and quantify drivers that map to the activities our associates perform to support our stores and supply chain facilities. In addition to developing these solutions, you will be creating comprehensive project plans that incorporate the strategies of The Home Depot and Home Depot Equipment Services. How do we engineer a process to support the unique and many different maintenance needs of our stores? What processes does this team execute regularly that require streamlining and optimizing? These are the types of questions you’ll be helping to answer through a combination of in-person studies and data analysis. This role will also see you partnering closely with a variety of cross-functional teams and help you gain the exposure needed to build a successful career at the Home Depot . This role offers high visibility to a variety of business partners. This, combined with scope of The Home Depot Enterprise, brings a very large career mobility element to the table as well, with the possibility to take your career in a number of different directions at The Home Depot.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
  • Experience leading high performing teams
  • Consulting management and/or project management.
  • Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis
  • Problem solving
  • Strong Operations, Retail and/or field knowledge

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • (5 years of work experience is preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
  • Perform data gathering tasks, synthesis - develop solutions, project/strategy planning and data utilization
  • Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize.
  • Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors
  • Build skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
