We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, extensive experience in sales forecasting, and a solid understanding of machine learning models. As the Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making processes and optimizing sales strategies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics).
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on sales planning and forecasting.
  • Proven track record of using machine learning models for sales forecasting.
  • Experience with analytics tools and languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Proficient in SQL coding for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts for Burger King North America through the utilization of advanced analytics and machine learning models.
  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for refining sales forecasts.
  • Analytics and Data Modeling: Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Implement machine learning models to enhance forecasting capabilities and optimize sales strategies.
  • Regularly assess and improve data models to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Possess a high level of proficiency in SQL coding for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
  • Posses a high level of proficiency using R or Python for data modeling.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to analytics and sales planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align forecasting efforts with business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the retail and/or food service industry, preferably with experience in quick-service restaurants (QSRs).
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to inform sales planning strategies.
