About The Position

About the Role As a Senior Analyst in the Finance team at Gap Inc. headquarters, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations for a large, multi-brand retail organization. You’ll collaborate with numerous business partners across various organizational levels, providing critical data, analysis, and guidance to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to assess financial impacts and perform thorough variance analysis to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
High personal accountability and ability to influence others while nurturing key business relationships.
Excellent organizational skills, strong emotional intelligence and capacity to perform under strict deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, for managing and analyzing large datasets.
Ability to solve for operational and/or program/system issues and develop preventative solutions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams across all organizational levels.
Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly forecast reporting to key stakeholders, ensuring timely distribution.
Support financial close processes, internal reporting, and provide analysis for key stakeholders.
Analyze key expenses during budget, forecast, and close cycles, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Provide financial analysis and support to internal groups, including Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, and Corporate and Brand FP&A.
Investigate and explain expense variances to forecast, budget, and prior year; proactively identify efficiency opportunities and collaborate on solutions to improve accuracy and reporting.
