About The Position

The Sr. Analyst, RGM position is a key role within the RGM team, which is dedicated to enhancing trade investment productivity and net price realization. This role reports to the RGM Trade Architecture Director and serves as a vital business partner for Sales, focusing on the development and management of customer Trade budgets and trading terms. The analyst will support the creation of local Trade Investment Strategies aligned with category growth ambitions and will collaborate with various teams to optimize trade investment frameworks and programs of sale. The position is hybrid, based in Ewing, NJ, and is part of a company culture that values courage, determination, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Graduate caliber with experience in a blue chip FMCG/consumer product with an analytical background.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven record in analyzing and modeling complicated data sets.
  • Understanding of the commercial P&L and its dynamics.
  • Ability to build successful working relationships and contribute as part of a cross-functional team.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade Promotional Knowledge - Understanding of trade promotions concepts.
  • Experience using analytical models and TPM IT systems.
  • Understanding of the strategic & operational impacts of trade promotional decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert analytical support towards the development of local Trade Investment Strategies.
  • Support the Trade Architecture Director in evaluating and creating recommendations on long-term trade investment strategies.
  • Incorporate external and internal information to create and maintain compelling SBU Trade Architecture investment frameworks.
  • Communicate clear guidelines on the trade architecture investment structure.
  • Own all associated reporting and analysis to ensure a clear understanding of the different investment structures.
  • Support the Sales Leadership, RGM, and KAMs teams to design and deliver annual growth & trade shape targets by account.
  • Conduct ongoing trade investment and budget analyses.
  • Support the development of the Pay for Performance journey, including developing Key performance metrics.
  • Improve management and transparency of trade investment budgets and productivity progress.
  • Collaborate with Trade Promotions Excellence, KAMs, and Finance to recommend additional trade investments.
  • Own the creation and analysis of all Trade Investment reporting.
