As a Revenue Accounting Data and Analysis Analyst, you'll be responsible for: Daily monitoring of the data and processes that create, load, and distribute the AA sales data and the flown ticket lift data. Working with end-users of this data across the company to answer questions, address concerns and coordinate enhancements. Reporting on and analyzing the Sales and Flown data for Revenue Accounting and other departments. Identifying issues, proposing solutions, and coordinating/contributing to the implementation of proposed solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 years related work experience in a similar field/position.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or other Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Thorough understanding of company Financial and Accounting data.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships and working successfully with business partners, technical teams, and all levels of management.
  • Significant and demonstrated analytical ability.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring and reporting on the timeliness and accuracy of Sales data and Flown ticket lift data.
  • Conducting a variety of tests on the reasonableness of data and performing exhaustive analysis on outliers and possible data issues.
  • Providing ongoing analysis and advice on departmental changes, company initiatives, and industry mandates.
  • Communicating with end-users of Revenue Accounting data regarding questions/concerns about Revenue Accounting data/projects.
  • Acting as an advisor and technical support for Revenue Accounting end-users on existing reports.
  • Liaising with the development team when other groups in Revenue Accounting are developing new reports.
  • Working with Protiviti and KPMG teams to ensure SOX compliance of applications when required.
  • Developing dashboards and reports to summarize and communicate operational metrics.
