The Senior Analyst, Reporting & Strategy will apply expertise in data analysis and analytical tools to ensure efficient data management, promote data-driven insights, and decision making to enhance health plan operations. This critical team member will leverage technology and data to improve health outcomes and operational improvements by designing, implementing, and maintaining reporting and analytical tools which yield actionable insights. A successful colleague will support multiple projects/initiatives concurrently, supplying an analytical perspective to the workgroup and delivering high quality work products on schedule and in-line with stakeholders' expectations. This colleague can proactively find tedious tasks and build tools that reduce overall complexity and time consumption for their fellow peers. Analyze and interpret complex data to support decision-making processes and inform strategic initiatives within the organization. Proactively Identify trends, patterns, and correlations to support decision-making processes. Contribute to the design, data collection, analysis, and reporting phases of new projects to generate evidence-based insights. Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders using tools such as business intelligence software or data visualization platforms to create compelling visual representations of data. Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency by implementing data management strategies and protocols.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
• Capable of modifying file delimiters and file extensions.
• Knowledge and ability to actively begin writing, updating, and maintaining VBA code, including ETL scripts.
• 3-5 years experience analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data.
• 3-5 years experience using Access, Excel, and PowerBI at a proficient level.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency working with Python, SQL, and Tableau.
