Position Overview: The position provides key support to the foundation's philanthropic mission to educate and provide emergency relief around the world. Under the general direction of the executive director, the role is responsible for the management of the Foundation’s flagship programs, the BK Scholars, BK Crown a Classroom and BK Emergency Fund programs, including the planning, execution, and growth of these programs to advance the Foundation’s strategic objectives while reaching annual targets. Relies heavily on non-profit experience, creative problem-solving and strong time management to manage multiple projects and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and ownership of projects is required and encouraged.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, non-profit, business, or related field
  • Three to five years’ experience in non-profit, programing, sales, fundraising or volunteer management
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong analytical, organizational and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, Blackbaud)
  • Skilled in written, verbal and interpersonal skills and strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether orally or in writing
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling a large volume of work
  • Previous experience specific experience in non-profit, government or public sector organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages BK Emergency Fund program, including the review and processing of team member applications in a timely manner
  • Manages the Burger King Scholars program, working closely with our scholarship partner to plan and execute scholarship awarding and celebrations
  • Manages the Crown A Classroom program, including working closely with our partner to plan and execute supplies distribution
  • Tracks and analyzes all program performance and reports outcomes to director and Foundation board of directors
  • Oversee BK Scholars Alumni management, including driving alumni engagement, alumni committee and fundraising
  • Responsible for answering inquiries and requests in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Provides support in the creation, distribution and tracking of communications and presentations
  • Maintains donor confidentiality and ensures compliance with related policies
  • Performs regular and ongoing communication with franchisees and key supporters to communicate program updates
  • Performs ongoing evaluations of programs and donor satisfaction
