About The Position

The GM Envolve team is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Analyst Production Operations Planning to support our team. In this role, you will manage fleets production schedule and influence how we communicate key production decisions to our leadership and field team. Your primary focus will be production management and forecasting future order timing based on customer requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ functional experience in Forecasting, Market Analysis, Planning, Sales and/or Finance.
  • Automotive industry knowledge, including competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Expert level of Excel and advanced level of PowerPoint.
  • An agile analytical mindset with outstanding quantitative skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter for a diverse audience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Cross-functional experience and cross-cultural awareness.
  • Strong strategic thinking ability
  • Industry knowledge of VOM, POMs and Order Work Bench

  • Experience in Order fulfillment and Vehicle scheduling
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end production full-through reporting, ensuring accurate communication to the field and delivering clear, concise weekly status updates to leadership.
  • Manage the weekly production balance-to-go for every GM vehicle line, giving the field and central office early, actionable visibility into upcoming production changes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all target production week requests from the field and central office, ensuring every request is logged, monitored, and fully resolved.
  • Deliver weekly production analysis to leadership, highlighting key production moves, capacity shifts, and emerging order demand trends and risks.
  • Support the monthly fleet guide submission process, ensuring tight alignment between production plans and fleet demand.
  • Support the order approval process to balance production constraints with customer needs and field commitments.
  • Support senior leadership analysis requests, providing timely, accurate data and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of broader GM Envolve and enterprise priorities.
