About The Position

Position Purpose: The Sr. Analyst, Pricing will support the efforts to provide subject matter expertise, project management, and analytical support to the development and execution of Pricing Strategies. The Sr. Analyst will perform analysis of data, build presentations, and will solve business questions using their insights, analytics, and judgement. The Sr. Analyst will work with cross functional partners, including marketing, ops, strategy and others to ensure end to end thinking on strategy and execution. The Sr. Analyst will also support merchants directly by helping them understand their business, test pricing strategies, and helping them achieve their objectives.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
• Ability to learn very quickly and independently
• Business acumen
• Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written
• Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access and other statistical software or pricing packages (i.e. SAS, Minitab, DemandTec)
• Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally with business partners

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Statistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Finance or other quantitative subject
• Understanding of pricing and statistics
• Innate intellectual curiosity

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and measure pricing actions to understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin. Utilize learnings to help merchants reach financial objectives
• Conduct research to become subject matter expert on a specific segment of pricing and statistical analysis
• Work across the organization and leverage cross functional teams to provide expert analytical support (i.e. domestic logistics or global supply chain costs
• Develop and deliver influential presentations that summarize complex analyses and drive effective business decisions
