About The Position

The Sr Analyst-Merchandising Operations role works in Pro Merchandising Initiatives supporting the Pro business. The Sr Analyst will focus on their level of responsibilities to include more advanced consulting to the business and addressing challenges within their area of responsibility. This role will actively review categories, provide analytical support, and provide recommendations on assortments for the PFN locations. This role will serve as the liaison with cross-functional support teams. As it relates to Merchandising, the role acts as the primary point of contact for the Pro team, merchant, and all internal support communities and provides input based on knowledge of PFN.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant business experience.
  • Experience in structuring and writing formal documents.
  • Experience in developing and delivering group presentations.
  • Experience in project planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft products (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and relational business software.

Responsibilities

  • Handle interpretation, higher level analysis, storytelling of data.
  • Utilize segmentation and internal/external facing applications, Microsoft data analytics tools.
  • Promote cooperation and teamwork; establish and maintain trust and credibility with leaders and team.
  • Address challenges and issues within area and deliver internal training.
  • Gather and create content for training.
  • Take on more complex issues and help drive resolution.
  • Work with leaders on identifying needs and developing solutions for the functional area.
  • Gather and analyze data and help translate data into action and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and help design solutions.
  • Provide customer feedback and manage project timelines.
  • Focus on Pro Merchandising strategic initiatives and engage with vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure Merchandising alignment to support the project’s successful expansion.
  • Create usage standards, guidelines, and statements of direction for JSD assortments.
  • Test, implement, and support solutions to ensure alignment to Pro initiatives.
  • Develop localized assortment solutions to drive jobsite delivery sales and growth.
  • On-board and train cross-functional teams on best practices and updates.
  • Gather customer data and act as Subject Matter Expert for PFN assorting.
