The Sr. Analyst, Planning (P&L/Budget/LRP) is responsible for working cross-functionally to collect data and develop models to determine trends utilizing a variety of data sources. This role involves retrieving, analyzing, and summarizing business, operations, employee, customer, and economic data to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness, predict business outcomes, and support decision-making. The analyst will conduct analyses that inform business strategy, including impact measurement of new products, optimization of business processes, customer segmentation, and identification of customer sentiment drivers through natural language processing (NLP).

  • Work with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
  • Determine relevancy of data and identify alternative data sources as needed.
  • Analyze large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
  • Query disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
  • Combine data from disparate sources to complete analysis.
  • Identify key business drivers and insights through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Develop forecasting models to predict sales, demand, and other key business metrics.
  • Analyze results of campaigns, offers, or initiatives to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate findings clearly through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, and teamwork.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently and determine work priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies.
