Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in general business, operations management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 4+ years' experience in sales operations, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience in high-volume retail environment, consumer electronics, or packaged goods.
  • Preferred experience in mobile/telecom industries.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
  • Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning or financial planning systems is highly desired (SAP, etc.).
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
  • Strong communication, both written (PPT presentations) and oral skills.
  • Ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.

Responsibilities

  • Own the general market, sales, and supply chain analysis required to understand, predict, and enhance mobile phone sales and availability at Samsung's largest account.
  • Oversee data collection, performance analysis, problem identification, and recommendations supporting mobile planning, operations, and customer demand.
  • Lead Weekly/quarterly S&OP process for Verizon Account across smartphones, tablets, and mobile enhancements.
  • Develop demand forecast to meet sales, financial, and inventory requirements for Samsung and the customer.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to achieve a balance between smartphone inventory levels, purchase and sales targets and production capability.
  • Function as the focal point to improve communications between headquarters and various internal/External stakeholders including Product Management and Marketing teams.
  • Communicate daily between headquarters and local organization on production allocation, delivery requirements and inventory management.
  • Provide Sales & Marketing teams with frequent updates of product launch schedules from headquarters and against customer product delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate and escalate critical product availability, launch issues and sales demands with manufacturing leadership.
  • Identify sales target status and product requirements to ensure fulfillment of product development and delivery to achieve sales plans.
  • Support exceeding quarterly and annual revenue, profit, and market share goals for assigned customer(s).
  • Prepare Ad Hoc reports related to account team monthly/quarterly financials.
  • Lead and contribute towards driving sales goals and customer team success.
  • Involve day-to-day operations, including availabilities and product shipment, and collectively review customer OH and consumption.
  • Manage Aging inventories, regularly report to leadership, and determine clearance plan with coordination with teams.
