The Sr Analyst will report to the Manager – FP&A (US and Global Real Estate & Development) and will be part of a broader Finance team that reports to the CFO, US and supports teams reporting into the President US & President International. This role will have an active role in reporting on monthly results, supporting monthly business reviews, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes related to the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and Long-Range Plan. The position will play a key role in forecasting, tracking, and reporting on Net Rental Income.The position will also track and analyze General & Administrative expenses, perform analysis on various ad hoc initiatives, and be tasked with helping to create various dashboards to better support the team’s business partners.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
Solid working knowledge of GAAP, and strong skills/experience in financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting techniques.
Experience with computer modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications.
Ability to create and manage databases and Excel based financial models.
Good organizational and communication skills, including strong influencing and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret results, understand implications, solve problems, and communicate and influence business partners all while staying organized.
2 to 4 years experience in financial analysis position with large organization.

Nice To Haves

Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail environment a plus.
Prior Lease Accounting experience or general understanding of Lease Accounting

Responsibilities

Prepare and compile monthly detailed financial results and analysis for presentation to GRE&D Leadership Team. This will include variance explanations versus forecast, prior year, and the annual operating plan.
Support preparation and analysis of Annual Operating Plan.
Plays key role in the forecast process for the GRE&D business unit including head-count reporting and analysis of General & Administrative spend / forecast across multiple functional partners.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis which support key business decisions.
Support quarterly financial reporting, audit, and investor relations processes
