About The Position

Are you ready to take your accounting experience to the next level and make an impact in a global organization? SC Johnson is looking for a Sr. Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team. As Sr. Analyst, you will play a key role in managing the flow of financial information from international and domestic subsidiaries through the consolidation process to ensure accurate internal and external reporting. This individual will report to Director, Corporate Accounting and External Reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field and 2+ years of directly related accounting or finance business experience.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA
  • Experience preparing financial statements, financial statement reconciliation, account reconciliation, month end close
  • Strong Excel proficiency; SAP/S4Hana, Business Warehouse (BW), Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)

Responsibilities

  • Execute towards domestic and international Tax and Treasury management strategies.
  • Facilitate projects that support Corporate Accounting initiatives.
  • Perform multiple tasks to deliver worldwide month-end close, including Cumulative Translation Adjustment (CTA) analysis, Other Income & Deductions (OID) commentary, financial reporting validations.
  • Support statutory and year-end financial statement reporting through external audits.
  • Execute corporate budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and file mandatory government reports with the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) and United States Census.
