The Investor Accounting Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position within the Investor Accounting group. This role involves preparation and review activities, supporting client deliverables, and guiding junior analysts with limited supervision. The position supports the Investor Accounting team at a global hedge fund administrator, offering exposure to hedge fund and private equity accounting, investor allocations, and financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in fund administration, investor accounting, or asset management accounting
• Proficient Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional certifications
• Experience with investor allocations, management fee, and incentive fee calculations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investor allocations for hedge fund and private equity vehicles
• Calculate and review management fees, incentive fees, and performance allocations in accordance with governing documents
• Support fund onboardings, including system setup, share class configuration, and testing
• Serve as a subject-matter resource for Analysts, providing guidance, training, and preliminary reviews
• Assist with client queries by researching issues and drafting responses for senior team members
• Support year-end financial reporting, audits, and regulatory deliverables
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency opportunities within Investor Accounting workflows
