About The Position

And our heritage and values are expressed in our brand promise - here for good. The Technology & Innovation team is currently looking for Senior System Analyst for CARD-400 (Credit Card systems). The Senior System Analyst is required to contribute to requirement gathering, responsible for solution discussion, solution designs (functional and technical), developing, testing, and documenting project changes for Credit Card systems following Agile SDF process. The candidate will also require assisting delivery manager and/or scrum master's in project management. Besides that, successful applicant is also required to: - Possess self-initiatives and able to work under minimal supervision. Possess analytical mindset and able to provide solution based on system analysis. Able to meet and comply to System Development Framework (SDF), Quality Management Framework (QMF) or Disciplined Agile Delivery, and Risk Mitigation framework which includes ensuring process, security, regulatory, and audit requirements are met. Possess Agile and Scrum knowledge and able to work in Scrum team At least 6 - 8 years working experience in AS400 platform, RPG, CL, PL/SQL, Control-M. Possess 2 - 3 years Java, Maven, Git, ADO skillset. Able to review junior's code and guide junior. Possess credit card domain knowledge Working experience in DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, CICD. Knowledge in AR Remedy, software lifecycle management tool (e.g.: Thenon, Aldon) is an added advantage. Must be adaptive and welcoming constant changes.

Requirements

  • At least 6 - 8 years working experience in AS400 platform, RPG, CL, PL/SQL, Control-M.
  • Possess 2 - 3 years Java, Maven, Git, ADO skillset.
  • Possess credit card domain knowledge.
  • Working experience in DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, CICD.
  • Knowledge in AR Remedy, software lifecycle management tool (e.g.: Thenon, Aldon) is an added advantage.
  • Possess Agile and Scrum knowledge and able to work in Scrum team.
  • Must be adaptive and welcoming constant changes.

Responsibilities

  • Possesses great understanding on Credit Card business and domain functional knowledge.
  • Possesses basic understanding on Personal Loan business and domain functional knowledge.
  • Actively lead and support credit card system development projects to achieve the most optimal client, business and people outcomes.
  • Understand business idea, clarify primary purposes of the future product or product feature changes.
  • Assist in setting up primary product benchmarks, such as customer acquisition strategy and value proposition.
  • Evaluate the most relevant means of implementation, which will be the most convenient for both stakeholders and developers.
  • Assist in development activities planning along with software development team.
  • Establish primary business requirements, shape development direction and arrange development prioritization.
  • Discuss in detail with stakeholders and validate business requirement before inclusion in the team backlog.
  • Get feedback from stakeholders and ensure product improvements according to the obtained info.
  • Deliver projects within the banks project management framework, within timeline and budget.
  • Plan more small or incremental releases of the software while delivering new features to market faster.
  • Support business stakeholders to standardize the Standard Chartered Bank Brand Global Products.
  • Provide business solution that will achieve speed to market as well as production system stability.
  • Proactively identify and implement operational effectiveness improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review issues logged or prioritization of requirements in backlog.
  • Ensure CARD-400 system parameters are maintained in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Actively engage in stakeholders' conversations, providing timely, clear and actionable feedback.
  • Escalate, mitigate and resolve any risk, conduct and compliance issues noticed throughout the project development lifecycle.
