About The Position

PSEG operates under a Flexible Work Model where flexible work is offered when job requirements allow. In support of this model, roles have been categorized into one of four work location categories: Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily. Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week. Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in business analysis or related field and minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7 years of equivalent experience in business analytics or contract management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of contract management.
  • Analytical ability, business sense, skilled in computer applications focused in research or data-based management.
  • Ability to effectuate change in a cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in data mining and analytics.
  • Proficiency in creating and using dashboards and creating presentations and graphics.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize continuous process improvement techniques.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, developing and presenting presentations to a wide audience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in business process design and analysis.
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or other relevant financial management certifications.
  • Performance Management certifications.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).

Responsibilities

  • Participate and contribute cradle to grave contract management from early involvement with developing the scope of work, RFP process, contract negotiation, contract award, contract maintenance, vendor performance through contract closeout.
  • Develop sourcing strategy recommendations and continuously assess vendor spend to identify savings opportunities.
  • Develop and manage Enterprise Real Estate Tax budget, forecast and payments. Lead Enterprise Real Estate Tax appeal program, collaborating with business units and outside counsel.
  • Prepare and management budgets, forecast, costing and variances for Corporate Security & Properties organization ($70M); provide and review reliable cost reporting to cost center managers.
  • Understand and manage client billing process and demand.
  • Perform month end transactions (e.g. accruals, pre-pays, journal entries).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish targets and key performance indicators.
  • Design, implement, monitor and communicate performance measures status so all stakeholders can understand; identify their outputs and signal when adjustments are required.
  • Develop, document, implement and continuous improve policies and procedures where applicable.
  • Provide ad hoc support and analysis to the Portfolio Operations team for department.
