About The Position

The Equity Analyst is responsible for the management of the company’s equity compensation programs. In addition, the analyst is responsible for the data in Equity Edge Online (EEO), including uploading stock option grants, coordinating vesting of restricted stock units and employee stock purchase (ESPP) contributions. This role partners cross functionally with teams such as HR and Accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent of 5–8 years of experience in equity plan administration, with significant experience using the E*TRADE platform.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end equity plan operations.
  • Deep knowledge of domestic equity compensation plans and related tax and securities laws.
  • Expertise with the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE platform, including reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to a wide range of employees.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert who handles the day-to-day operations of the equity programs.
  • Serves as primary point of contact with CompIntelligence and the E*Trade teams.
  • Manage the daily administration of the company’s equity plans, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPPs).
  • Process all equity transactions, such as new grants, exercises, vesting releases, and terminations, on the Morgan Stanley/E*TRADE platform.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employees with questions about their equity awards, tax implications, and using the E*TRADE portal.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the E*TRADE corporate services team to resolve system issues, implement platform upgrades, and coordinate new plan features.
  • Ensure full compliance with global regulatory requirements, tax rules, and internal company policies related to equity compensation.
  • Partner with internal teams—including Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Accounting—to ensure data accuracy and support financial reporting and tax withholding.
  • Perform periodic data reconciliations between the HRIS, payroll, and E*TRADE systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Assist the finance team with quarterly and annual reporting related to stock-based compensation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and process overviews.
  • Develop and deliver educational materials and presentations to help employees understand the value of their equity compensation.
