About The Position

The Sr. Analyst, Energy Purchasing position at Saint-Gobain focuses on supporting energy management initiatives, including renewables, energy security, and decarbonization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in energy or adjacent fields, data, or computer science required.
• Experience in energy market analysis, modeling, and techno-economic analysis required.
• Knowledge of energy management and decarbonization practices required.
• Certifications preferred: AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and/or AEE Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with utility data energy usage analysis.
• Knowledge of energy supply purchasing and contracting.
• Experience in solar/renewables/distributed generation contracting.
• Familiarity with emerging technology analysis and sourcing.
• Experience in financial hedging and VPPA contracting.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of energy management and decarbonization initiatives.
• Conduct energy market analysis and financial hedging.
• Manage physical supply contracting and on-site solar/renewables contracting.
• Oversee vendor performance and compliance in energy purchasing operations.
• Analyze energy usage and develop strategies for price reduction and energy security.
