Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years experience in Ad Operations, Sales Operations, Inventory Management, Yield, Data Analytics

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate digital advertising inventory data by applying business rules, updating configurations and ensuring consistency across formats and placement
  • Working in internally built excel tool to track digital advertising inventory adding new ad units as they become available, breaking out in different views such as endemic vs non-endemic and more
  • Prepare and publish digital advertising inventory forecasts using historical data, traffic trends and seasonality to support sales planning
  • Working close with cross functional partners including ecomm & product to understand what ad units are being built, when they will be ready to then help forecast how much additional digital ad inventory we will have and making sure our forecasts & dashboards are accurate
  • Being proactive Monitor digital advertising inventory accuracy, identify gaps or issues and assist with testing and corrective actions to improve reliability
  • Being proactive on what we say we can do vs what we can do based on changes with testing or release timelines
  • Communicate changes to team
  • Update dashboards and reports to track sold vs. available digital advertising inventory and share updates with Sales, Planning and Leadership
  • Using internal CRM/CMS tools such as Salesforce to understand what ad campaigns are in the pipeline and what stage they are in to then “reserve” inventory in internal digital ad inventory tracker
  • Stay on the pulse of the sales pipeline and being proactive on making sure it matches our inventory reservation & allocations
  • Work with Ad Ops and Media Execution teams to adjust campaigns based on digital advertising inventory changes or constraints
  • Making campaign optimizations with an ad inventory lens to ensure any changes we make can deliver in full.
  • Support yield optimization efforts by reviewing performance data, adjusting floors and allocation rules, and partnering with Monetization and leadership on revenue improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring DMN is receiving the most revenue from our digital advertising inventory based on numerous selling tactics
  • Proactively staying on top of performance and recommending optimization levers
  • Partner with DMN Leaders and Agency Partners to ensure there is a consistent level of communication sharing the overall health of our digital advertising inventory.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager of Sales Ops, Inventory & Yield to establish an internal DMN “culture of inventory” where decisions are made including an inventory lens.
  • Work could include assisting in creating governance rules, leading conversations & independent conversations with Agency partners
