Job Summary Manage day to day custom compliance activity within the region supporting Sr. Manager of Supply Chain. Oversees global trade compliance by ensuring adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and internal controls. The role leads complex import and export reviews, manages high‑risk compliance issues, and drives process and system improvements. The analyst collaborates with cross‑functional teams and brokers to strengthen compliance governance and reduce regulatory risk.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree or relatable certifications and experience.
  • Minimum Required: 5+ years related work experience
  • Strong Logistics and Compliance Knowledge and good understanding of best practices.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Level: 7+ years related work experience
  • Preferred Level: Good knowledge of customs laws in countries of operations.
  • Work schedule includes on call team rotation to cover weekends for rig support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate HTS classification and proper customs valuation for all imported equipment by assigning correct codes, duty rates, regulatory requirements, and valuation.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, customs agents, and rig teams to support import needs, ensure timely material clearance, and resolve customs issues to reduce the risk of fines and penalties.
  • Audit all entry and post ‑ entry activities by reviewing customs filings, directing corrections and refunds, and ensuring brokers comply with strict standards and procedural controls.
  • Evaluate FTA and duty ‑ optimization programs by determining eligibility and ensuring all required documentation is obtained, validated, and maintained for full regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate trade compliance documentation and records by preparing and reviewing import data, validating required authorizations, and managing information across classification databases, customs systems, broker platforms, SAP/ERP, and SharePoint.
  • Manage customs ‑ related risks by identifying issues, implementing corrective actions, and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes.
  • Adhere to and actively support all established Trade Compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support initiatives across Global Supply Chain, operations, project teams, and Trade Compliance functions.
  • Provide required guidance and support to remote locations to facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures for the import / export of rigs and material to ensure Company is in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
