The Sr. Analyst, Customer Experience Product Owner at American Airlines is responsible for contributing to the development of product vision and strategy aligned with portfolio goals. This role involves utilizing technical knowledge and data analytics to support product development, communicate product roadmaps, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Contribute to the co-creation of Product Vision and Product Strategy tied to Portfolio goals.
  • Utilize technical knowledge such as A/B testing, product architecture, continuous deployment process, DevOps practices, data models and analytics, querying languages, and automation tools.
  • Communicate regularly on OKRs, product roadmap, planned development, and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Coordinate with other Product team members to support product dependencies and increments of value.
  • Perform continuous product discovery and offer valuable solutions that align with Product OKRs.
  • Understand budgetary implications related to organizational constraints.
  • Utilize data to define baselines, measure outcomes, and share insights.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and present new technologies/solutions.
  • Define and maintain a healthy backlog, adopting organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with various internal team members including UX, Technology, Vendors, Risk, Compliance, and Security.
  • Influence leaders, squads, and peers on product strategy and roadmap items.
  • Practice agility in discovering and delivering value continuously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience as an Analyst, Product Owner, or in a related occupation.
  • Demonstrated experience in product ownership and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with NetTracer CRM application and airline baggage mishandling process.
  • Familiarity with WorldTracer application, vBSO, vBagAgent, and claims automation.
  • Knowledge of TT Knowledge Force (SITA) and testing processes including A/B Testing, TestRail, Postman, and HP Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience with data models and analytics, and querying languages using MySQL.
  • Experience in airline claim process automation and production support.
  • User interface prototype design experience using Axure RP 9 and Figma.
  • Proficiency in JIRA project management application and SDLC project management.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Continuous Deployment Process.
