This job is a member of the Cargo Customer Experience team within the Cargo Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or journalism) or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years of marketing or communications experience or relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of digital communication channels
  • Proven experience with B2B email marketing and campaign execution
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce
  • Understanding of lead generation and nurturing
  • Experience with paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads or similar solutions
  • Copywriting experience
  • Strong presentation skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Eloqua or similar email marketing platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of digital media including KPIs and measurement

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Cargo stakeholders to craft impactful communications and marketing plans that engage new and existing customers and drive product awareness and conversion
  • Manages digital channels for American Airlines Cargo including aacargo.com and LinkedIn, and analyzes performance and identifies new channel opportunities
  • Identifies the ideal channels and vehicles to communicate with customers and media
  • Creates and presents well-communicated plans and results to all stakeholders
  • Manages external copywriters and creative agencies when necessary
  • Coordinates with Corporate Communications on content planned for extended coverage in mainstream/local markets and internally, as appropriate
  • Must be willing to travel when needed for business
