About The Position

Serves as a business solution analyst for the Technical Services division. Interfaces with key end-user customers to understand and interpret business requirements to allow the application of technology for solving business problems. From these analyses, the Sr. BSA will develop and implement reporting to assist in KPI and metrics reporting as well as data analysis. Sr. BSA responsible for leading business units in generation, interpretation, and maintenance of Maximo guidelines and procedures and verifying strategic results. Specifically in the Maximo systems the Sr. BSA must have the ability to understand the business case for changes in processes, and present best practice recommendations and justifications to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in related Business Information Systems / Computer Information Technology / Management Information Systems / Business Systems Development / Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years’ experience in business reporting, analytics and business information systems required
  • 5+ years’ experience in MAXIMO application usage preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in an industrial business environment preferred
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience Maximo (version 7.6+) preferred
  • Understand business systems, relational databases and db concepts
  • Expertise required in Microsoft SQL Server & Excel Query (ODBC)
  • The individual must have the ability to develop reports, business correspondence, communication, procedure manuals & training documentation.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group environments.
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence systems (BIRT, Power BI, Data Lake concepts, data migration)
  • Demonstrated change management success along with strategic planning
  • Provide timely technical support, assist troubleshooting, partnering with IT & respond with urgency to application issues.
  • Expert in Maximo solutions (Work Management, Location/Asset Hierarchy, PMs, JPs, Supply Chain, Inventory/Spares)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of Maximo and its related business systems, to ensure the CMMS solutions meet the strategic goals and needs of the company.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of business needs/processes and recommends modification to systems to enhance automation, reducing manual efforts.
  • Maintains project plans, performing business gap analysis, requirements evaluations, performing solutions evaluations, and producing deliverable documents.
  • Maintain relationships with internal/external partners and work closely with them throughout the Design and testing cycles related to Maximo.
  • Generates and Maintains Standard Operating Procedures for the MAXIMO database and conducts user application training.
  • Works closely with key Division users to assess business problems and determine and implement information technology solutions.
  • Interfaces with business units and supports organizations on all matters regarding Maximo systems.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
