About The Position

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a talented Sr. Analyst, Business Systems to leverage powerful ERP tools like NetSuite and Coupa to drive business forward. In this role, you will combine technical and business acumen to enhance finance, accounting, and procurement processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, recommending, developing, and implementing new features, tools, and integrations, as well as advocating for system adoption to support the company's growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other related field or equivalent experience and 4+ years of experience in implementing and maintaining on-premises/cloud-based, integrated/stand-alone Systems and Software
• Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences experience preferred
• Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of related experience
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Coupa
• Demonstrated understanding of day-to-day processes in Finance, Accounting, or Procurement
• Technical skills in customization tools and integrations
• Strong understanding of business processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work
• Ability to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team; may lead and train lower levels
• Strong communication, problem-solving, analyzing skills
• Detail oriented yet can see broader picture
• Ability to prioritize and lead across differing deadlines, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
• Knowledge of industry trends, best practices & operating principles
• Proven success implementing and/or maintaining SaaS software for one or more of the following functional areas: Finance, Accounting or Procurement
• Integration experience a plus (Workato, Python etc.)
• Familiarity with Computer System Validation, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11; general GxP experience a plus

Responsibilities

• NetSuite and Coupa configurations, optimizations, integrations and general problem-solving
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges
• Design and implement new processes that maximize the potential of NetSuite and Coupa and other financial related applications (Sovos, Planful)
• Leverage advanced features like SuiteScripts, Saved Searches and Custom Records
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and standardize business processes
• Provide expertise and may lead others in design, configuration, testing, verification, and training for NetSuite and Coupa and other financial related applications as needed
• Develop and update required system deliverables including architectural documentation, configuration documentation, test scripts, and training materials
• Participate in and confirm the documentation, design and testing of master data and data conversions
• May lead, develop and execute plans to educate and train stakeholders and super-users on related topics and applications
• Adopt and implement processes to effectively transition post-implementation support activities to appropriate teams
• Act as a resource for less-experienced team members and colleagues
• Network and interact with the internal and external community to understand the nature and trending of issues and best practices
• Communicate new features and align functionality with changing business needs
• Ensure that deployed systems comply with all applicable GxP, legal, and fiduciary policies, practices and requirements
• Recognize business impacts and significance of issues appropriately, recommend courses of action and resolve them with a sense of urgency
