About The Position

Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels. Job Summary Responsible for providing business performance analysis by leveraging information and data to influence business decisions and accountability. Analyzes financial data and interprets trends to all levels within the organization in support of functional business objectives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities to effectively deliver against expectations. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience. Job Description Core Responsibilities Partners with Finance peer groups to identify and facilitate opportunities to optimize business results. Connects with Business Partners to develops a clear action plan to deliver against the team’s objectives. Influences Business & Financial Performance. Identifies business risk and collaborates to identify mitigation strategies and solutions. Analyzes all aspects of financial performance and provides recommendations for improvement. Creates and monitors productivity KPI’s. Participates in Workforce Planning Meetings to align on the people, financial, and strategic needs of the group. Work with leadership teams to plan and manage headcount, evaluate requisitions and offers of employment to support roadmap and operational plans. Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and determines emerging financial trends. Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms. Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department members on special projects or on an as-needed basis. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements

  • Skills Business Decisions, Business Partnerships, Business Performance, Business Results, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Long Term Planning
  • Education Bachelor's Degree
  • While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
  • Relevant Work Experience 5-7 Years
