Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, mathematics, computer science, or industrial engineering, or additional equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5 - 8 years of analytical experience, preferably in the gas transmission industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with all levels of organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work overtime on short notice.
  • Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workforce performing administrative and financial job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the 'Go-To' person for all Administrative-related activities and procedures for the Director.
  • Assist team with the preparation of the annual O&M budgets, reviewing historical cost data and focusing on planned usage of resources.
  • Recommend prioritization of activities considering available resources and prepare final budget documentation for management approval.
  • Gather data related to resource utilization, complete required reports and documents, and recommend actions to supervision.
  • Ensure Area level O&M and Capital Budget information is gathered, consolidated, reviewed, and reported to upper management.
  • Review, monitor, and analyze actual results versus O&M and Capital budgets.
  • Review financial and statistical data to determine reasons for variances and prepare required documentation.
  • Review and analyze trends and variances to recommend changes in resource usage.
  • Process invoices and ensure rate verification is accurate/current.
  • Maintain forecasting on all projects and assist with Monthly Project Reporting.
  • Generate the Project Forecast Report and route projects for approval.
  • Assist Area personnel with the preparation and submission of requests for new contracts for service agreements.
  • Manage vendor maintenance and ensure corporate accounts and vendor inquiries are up to date.
  • Prepare and assist in research and preparation of requests for information, special projects, and reports.
  • Generate Vehicle requisitions for budgeted vehicle replacements and new hires as needed in SAP.
  • Work with all levels of personnel within Operations and other departments to furnish and obtain information.
  • Work with confidential information, such as personnel changes and personal employee data.
