About The Position

The Sr. Alternative Investments Investor Operations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the Alternative Investment Investor Relations team successfully executes its support strategy on behalf of assigned funds, aiding the team to evolve our capabilities to address new product types and mitigate operational risks, and helping drive improvements to our investor's private fund experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or equivalent Private fund experience required; Exchange Fund experience preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in fund operations, ideally in a client onboarding and servicing capacity.
  • Strong understanding of asset management middle office/back-office functions, particularly cash and security settlements.
  • Experience with private fund administration and/or transfer agent applications desirable.
  • Knowledge and an understanding of FinTech private fund platforms a plus.
  • Analytical, possessing superior research and problem-solving skills; ability to explain and resolve complex processes.
  • Self-starter, individual contributor.
  • Ability to maintain effective and mutually beneficial working relationships with internal and external counterparts.
  • Demonstrates ownership and follows through to timely completion; makes decisions in the best interest of the business.

  • Crafting/maintaining procedures for associates and participate in cross training to ensure team is aware and implements any new processes or changes to a process.
  • Demonstrating solid attention to detail, ability to evaluate problems and exhibit a methodical approach to solutions.
  • Embracing an open-minded outlook and adapting to change.
  • Responding to operational issues timely and effectively, while identifying ways to gain efficiencies in the process.
  • Refining, improving, and driving the service business plan strategy for long-term sustainability, based off data trends from past fund operational events.
