We are looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills to join our team. The position involves research and development of algorithms related to glucose sensing and insulin therapy technology. The individual will work with members of the algorithm team to improve the performance of therapy algorithms through the application of machine learning and advanced signal processing techniques, mathematical modeling, and experimentation. The role will involve all aspects of the R&D process, including data gathering, analysis, theory and algorithm development through to validation for regulatory submissions. A successful candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of machine learning and signal processing methodologies and would take part in the full cycle of the development process which includes but is not limited to the design, implementation, debugging, testing and integration with other subsystems. Lastly, the candidate will also be involved in the documentation of such algorithms for regulatory submissions both domestically and internationally. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements.
