As a Senior Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety in industrial automation. You will work on cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of talented engineers to drive innovation and deliver high-quality software products. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Mt. Laurel, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of software solutions that improve the safety, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' operations, ultimately contributing to their success in the process industry.   • Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications for industrial automation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
  • Implement software solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Develop solid engineering test plans for any product containing new software.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in industrial automation or related fields.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, with experience in developing scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience leading software development projects and teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
