About The Position

As a Sr Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality for our products and processes. You will lead and drive advanced quality engineering activities, implementing robust quality control measures and driving continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for implementing advanced quality control processes, conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to improve product quality. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 or more years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector
  • 3 or more years experience operating under a 3rd party certified Quality Management System i.e. AS9100/ISO9001
  • Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • A proven track record in Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) from ASQ.
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies.
  • Internal Auditor Certification

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards from Honeywell and its customers
  • Own, conduct, and support audits to assess internal and external capabilities and identify areas for improvement
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process conformance and continuous improvements for quality issues
  • Monitor quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Build a strong relationship with Customers, Suppliers, Engineering, and Operations, and Business Functions.
  • Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership.
  • Ensures activities and items are in compliance with Honeywell quality assurance standards applicable government regulations and customers’ requirements.
  • Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations.
  • Additional requirements as necessary.
