About The Position

Honeywell Sundyne is a leading manufacturer of highly reliable and efficient centrifugal pumps and compressors for use in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, power generation and water processing industries.
As a Sr Advanced Product Development Engineer, you will join the development team for design and creation of advanced mechanical machines and components that drive innovation and sustainability in energy solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs while adhering to industry standards.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge rotating equipment that contributes to energy efficiency and sustainability, enhancing the quality of life for people around the globe.
You will report directly to our Development Manager, and you’ll work out of our Arvada, Colorado location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced rotating equipment and auxiliary systems through stage gate process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
• Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability.
• FEA – stress analysis and CFD modeling (Ansys Fluent/CFX).
• Create CAD models and drawings and facilitate their review for accuracy. GD&T & Engineering Drawing Literacy.
