About The Position

As a mechanical engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Experience designing NC3 Systems, System Components, and Qualification of those systems to meet NC3 requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals.
