As a Sr Advanced Mech Desing Engr, you will provide technical expertise and support in the materials and process engineering of forged product. Work as part of a highly engaged and integrated Materials Engineering team. You will collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers.

The Materials Engineering position will provide support for new and existing forged products including aerospace gas turbine engines used for propulsion and auxiliary power. You will work out of the Phoenix, AZ facility, on a Hybrid Work schedule, and will report to the Sr Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of forged parts
• Regularly interact with forging and raw material suppliers to identify requirements and help resolve issues
• Will be a technical point of contact for junior engineering team members
• Be able to lift up to 35 lbs. (single carry) to work, inspect, system components and parts
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally to support business requirements
