Your role: Initiating, leading, and executing on product industrialization activities including equipment selection, process development, process characterization and process validation, in support of new product development as well as design changes. Performing design for manufacturing (reliability & serviceability), equipment, and labor capacity planning. Driving key performance indicators such as Cost of Goods, Yield, Output and Quality throughout projects and into commercialization. Providing in-depth knowledge of problem solving linked to manufacturing processes and equipment. Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success. Supporting internal and external manufacturing, and site to site manufacturing transfer projects. Making data driven decisions using appropriate analytical methodologies. Employing equipment, processes and procedures which promote a healthy, safe, and secure work environment. Coaching, mentoring and developing junior engineers. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience commercializing products in a manufacturing engineering or product/process development related role. Experience with stents, catheters, delivery systems, medical device consoles or similar, is highly preferred. Your skills include: Knowledge of design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability. Strong leadership including change management, communications and rapport building within a complex matrixed organization. Demonstrated ability with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred). You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or 6+ years of equivalent manufacturing engineering experience. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in MA is $80,000 to $127,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
