As a SeniorAdvanced DSP Systems Engineer for SIS Core Engineering, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and modeling algorithms, verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDMSand client technologies. Senior Advanced DSP Systems Engineers analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for Space-based systems. Your duties would include:

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Extensive experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), knowledge of MATLAB (or Python) for DSP using the related tool boxes
• Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
• Creative thinker motivated to apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
• Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
• Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Department of DefenseTS/SCI security clearance ispreferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Agile experience preferred.
• Statistical Signal Processing, Multi-rate Signal Processing, Radar Processing, DSP for mitigating/processing RF effects.
• Exceptional candidates have work experience of algorithm development for the statistical analysis of signal parameter measurements utilizing techniques from Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory.
