MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. You will play a crucial role in delivering advanced solutions and strategic insight to optimize the customers enterprise environment. · Proven expertise in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating application delivery and/or load balancing systems. · Evaluate and recommend network optimization and application acceleration techniques. · Extensive experience with application delivery and/or load balancing systems across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments. · Use advanced tools and analytics to diagnose and resolve issues related to application delivery. · Proficient in using automation and orchestration for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of application delivery and/or load balancing systems. The Senior Principal Applications Delivery Network Engineer must have: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education. · Minimum of 10 years of experience in application delivery and network engineering. · Extensive knowledge of ADN technologies. · Strong understanding of networking protocols, load balancing, and security best practices. · Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix NetScaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred. The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Requirements
