About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support our Global Situational Awareness Strategy and Business Development organization in Littleton, CO. This position will provide support to multiple directors as well as additional support to their management teams. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. They must be a self-starter with strong initiatives, a team player, have the proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short/firm deadlines that aligns to company initiatives. We are looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism, collaboration, and enthusiasm for the mission. Responsibilities include but are not limited to general correspondence, phone duties, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements and expense reports, answering internal and external customer inquiries and special duties as requires. The selected individual will be responsible for performing complex and diversified administrative functions that require independent decision making and problem-solving capabilities with minimal direction. We are a Business Development organization, so our Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting customer relations and interfacing with customers along with our leadership. We host many customers and vendors at our location which requires scheduling conference rooms, providing direction on visit certifications with LM Security, providing site passes, escorting, setting up the meeting including any communications requirements (and ordering refreshments as necessary), and being the first point of contact from Lockheed Martin Space to meet and greet our guests. There may be additional responsibilities such as maintaining office supplies, organizing shipments, getting mail and deliveries as well as general upkeep and maintenance of the office area. This position will provide support for business operations including coordinating, compiling, and preparing information for internal business reviews, documentation, and reports; compile and edit weekly and monthly status reports and items of interest. Knowledge of standard office equipment and technology (phones, printers, iPhone, IOS and applications, computers, laptops, copiers, Windows, Microsoft Office, for both operations and basic trouble shooting is necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience with administrative functions or equivalent
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • US Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple task work-flows to achieve maximum productivity

  • Minimum of five years of administration experience; prefer executive administration experience
  • Self-reliant and self-starter able to anticipate requirements of business leaders
  • The ability to maintains composure in a dynamic fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and a team focus
  • Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills to interface with customers and leadership
  • Ability to prioritize non-routine situations and lead projects as necessary

  • Comfortable in a high tech industry
